Turnitin has released a major product upgrade called Turnitin Feedback Studio, offering all the functionality of Turnitin, but with a simplified, more intuitive interface.
Ulster will upgrade our version of Turnitin to Feedback Studio on 17th June to coincide with the Blackboard upgrade. Once upgraded, you can expect to see a new interface when you open a student’s paper in Turnitin. Your students will also experience this new and improved interface when viewing similarity reports and receiving feedback.
This upgrade does not require any change to the way you create Turnitin assignments or how students submit assignments.
Feedback studio features the following improvements:
- Simpler, clearer layout and better use of space when viewing and marking assignments.
- Improved compatibility with mobile devices.
- Easier to add comments and quick marks.
- You can add formatting to comments (bold italics etc) and can add web links to additional resources.
- Easier to switch between features.
You can preview how this will look by visiting the Turnitin online demo at: http://turnitin.com/assets/en_us/media/feedback-studio-demo
