Student Skills

language students or those with fluency in a European language or Mandarin Chinese. Creativity, patience and understanding also important.

Expected Pupil Outcomes

The pupils will learn how to say some rhymes, songs, key words and phrases in the given language.

Expected Student Tutor Outcomes

the student teacher will gain first hand experience of managing a small class of children under adult supervision. He/she will also create a bank of resources that can be used again in the future.

ideally one day a week from 1.45 - 3.45 pm

Tutoring in Schools is a programme that places Ulster University student tutors in a primary, secondary or special school.

The programme is open to all Ulster students who wish to enhance their student experience and strengthen their skillsets.

It provides schools with a student to work alongside teachers on any school-based project you propose.
