A Mathematic undergraduate, or one from any discipline were Maths is an obvious component.

Expected Pupil Outcomes

To improve confidence and ability in Maths, and to particularly help KS3 pupils progress to KS4.

Expected Student Tutor Outcomes

To have made use of the student in a strategic and effective way, and to thus improve pupil performance across all Year Groups.

Extra Information

This would be during school hours. Numeracy support at KS3 or KS4 as timetables allow and taking into account the skills of the student. School has resources. Student(s) would be working with small groups of young people under the guidance of the class teacher. Maths / Numeracy is a key focus in the school. This would be fantastic experience for an undergraduate to assist a school in supporting young people improve their skills in maths.

The programme is open to all Ulster students who wish to enhance their student experience and strengthen their skillsets.
